This 1999 Land Rover Defender 130 is a right-hand-drive crew cab pickup that remained with its previous owner in the UK for approximately 15 years before the seller acquired it in December 2023 and imported it to the US. Subsequent work involved repainting the body in blue, undercoating the frame, overhauling the brakes, and installing a 2″ suspension lift kit. Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-five, and the drivetrain is completed by a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. The truck rides on 15″ steel wheels mounted with 33″ BFGoodrich tires, and it is further equipped with LED lighting, a white-finished roof, a spray-on bedliner, and a pintle hitch as well as racing-style front bucket seats, a Jensen touchscreen head unit, and a cab heater. This turbodiesel Defender 130 indicates 148k miles.
The truck was repainted in its current shade of blue following the seller’s acquisition. It was also fitted with a KBX grille, a spray-on cargo bed liner, and checker-plate accents atop the front fenders as well as replacement weather seals. Lighting is provided by a pair of LED light bars mounted above the windshield, aftermarket headlights, LED indicator and running lights, and dual auxiliary lights mounted to the front bumper. Additional exterior details include a contrasting roof finished in white, cowl vents, and a pintle hitch.
Silver-finished 18″ alloy wheels are mounted with 265×65x18 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. A full-size spare is secured in the cargo bed. Britpart shocks and springs were installed by the seller, and they provide approximately 2″ of suspension lift. Additional work included replacing the wheel bearings along with the brake calipers, pads, and rotors at each wheel.
Racing-style bucket seats upholstered in black leatherette with diamond-pattern stitching were added by the seller along with a Jensen touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. The cabin is further appointed with a rubber floor covering, a heater, crank-operated windows, and a rear bench seat with a textile cover.
The leather-wrapped Mountney Classic three-spoke steering wheel resides on the right side of the cabin and fronts a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 148k miles, approximately 250 miles were added by the seller.
The 2.5-liter Td5 turbodiesel inline-five received an oil change in 2024.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through an R380 five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. The driveline fluids were changed and the frame was stripped and sprayed with an undercoating material following the seller’s acquisition
